Repurposed Register Grate Garden

Repurposed Register Garden

Is this just not the cutest idea? Turn your old register grate into a unique succulent garden! No prep needed! Just fill an old register with potting soil, then plant with your favorite succulents or "steppables!" A beautiful way to upcycle!

  2. What a CLEVER idea - I LOVE it!

I'm going to share your post on Facebook. Your photos are "great"! ;)

Questions: Are the succulents growing up through the grate slats? How do you keep the dirt from falling out? I know the grate bottom closes, but just wasn't sure if it closes tight enough. I'd LOVE to see more photos on this!! :)

    1. Thanks so much for sharing, Holly! Yes, they are growing up through the slats. The bottom closes enough for the dirt to stay in, but lets the excess water drain out.
