Gibson Tuck Tutorial

The Gibson Tuck is one of my absolute favorite hairstyles because it is elegant, classy, and old-fashioned! And with a Lilla Rose Flexi clip, it is super easy to do! Just follow this photo tutorial to create a lovely Gibson Tuck for yourself!

  1. This is a beautiful style. But I can't figure out how you get from step 6 to step 7. (Bottom row, from 1st square to 2nd.)

    1. Carol, normally, you'd just tuck all the hair into the pocket you'd just made, but since her hair was so long, she had to fold her ponytail in half first before tucking it into the pocket. Hope this helps!

  2. Sooo pretty! To what exactly is the flexi clip attached?! Is it the top of the fold of hair and the hair straight on the back of the head (from the original ponytail)? Hope my question makes sense! =) Looking forward to exploring more of your blog!

    1. Yes, the pin of the flexi would go through the top of the fold of hair, into the straight hair in back, as close to the scalp as possible, then back up through the fold of hair. It makes a very secure hold that way.
